The two does came inside to be bottle fed, but her buckling stayed with her up until 7/17/14 and has become a very nicely sized little boy. Zoey has an interesting personality, she likes a select few people, but those that she does like she trust very much. She has horns, not by my choice, and I'm not going to try and remove them nor pay a vet to do it. She's still in milk and is available for $225 firm or trade for another registered (ADGA or AGS preferably) dehorned or polled doe. I'm not going to put up with any more horns in my herd. Her two doelings are also available, so please check out the Nursery page if you're interested in either of them. Might be willing to sell Zoey and one of her kids for a discounted price together. Please email me, or send me a message on Facebook if you're interested in either Trading or buying. I will get an udder photo on my next day off, body photos taken 7/14/14
She was born May 11, 2012. As far as I know she's only had one kid, a single buckling born February of this year. She's a very lovely doe, loves attention and walks rather well on the lead. When in milk she produced about 2 quarts of milk a day while nursing her kid, sometimes more, and 4 quarts after he was weaned. She's very well mannered on the milk stand and did pretty well while I clipped her body and trimmed her feet. She is $150 firm or trade for her price in good cut of alfalfa hay. Deposit required to hold. Photo of udder taken 6 weeks after kidding before being milked, other photos taken 7/14/14.
We require a deposit on the goat you may be interested in to hold them, please contact us to discuss deposit prices if not already listed. Deposit is nonrefundable. After a deposit has been received we will mark the animal as "Sale Pending". Only after the animal has been paid for in full and has been picked up will it be marked as sold. You must pay in full before coming to pick up the animal. Adults that are registered will come with registration papers, unlike kids which will have the option to register or not. Your deposit will hold the animal(s) for 30 days while transport/pick up is being arranged. Starting after that month there will be a fee of $2.50 per day, per animal to cover costs for feed, medications, and anything else that we need to spend money on in order to care for said animal(s). Each month that the animal(s) stay here, the price will increase. Why is this price higher than what is advertised on the Nursery page? Adults tend to eat a lot more than kids do, so the price is increased to cover that extra feed consumed.
